Osteopathic Medicine Day 2023

Osteopathic physicians and students converged in the Capitol to support legislation that will improve access to health care services for patients across Florida, with special attendance at a press conference limiting step therapy practices. Proposed legislation on SB112 and HB 183, sponsored by Senator Gayle Harrell and Representative Karen Gonzalez Pittman, would address step therapy practices for serious mental illness to help Floridians get the critical care they need when they need it.
